About You
We are looking for individuals who:
Hold a current registration as a Social Worker with AASW membership, Rehabilitation Counsellor with ASORC membership, fully registered Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist or fully registered Speech Pathologist.
Must be experienced in completing Vocational Assessments.
Enjoy autonomous work and making evidence-based decisions independently.
Thrive in an experienced and supportive workplace structure that guides your career and growth.
Are motivated, energetic, positive, and eager to learn and contribute to the team's and workers' wellbeing.
Possess strong customer service and organizational skills.
Are confident communicators with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Have prior occupational rehabilitation experience (desirable but not essential; comprehensive training provided).
Hold a current driver's license.
As Rehabilitation Consultant your responsibilities may include:
Conducting Vocational Assessments and Counselling, including assisting clients in exploring retraining options.
Managing cases of Physical and/or Psychological Injury Claims.
Performing Labour Market Analysis and providing Job Seeking Education.
Facilitating Mental Health Training sessions.
Leading Medical Case Conferences with doctors and treating health professionals.
Conducting Workplace Assessments (Psychological).
Providing Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselling.
Delivering Return to Work case management services to support injured workers in returning to their pre-injury role or to a suitable role with a new employer.
