About Us We are seeking an experienced trade professional or Account Manager to join our team in Brisbane, taking ownership of key accounts while building solid client relationships and driving new business opportunities.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in rendering, coatings, construction, or the building products industry.

This is a field-based growth role suited to a self-starter with a strong commercial mindset who enjoys developing new business, identifying opportunities, and building long-term customer relationships across both established and emerging accounts.

With 47 years in the industry, Rockcote is a proudly Australian, family-owned manufacturer of premium render, texture coatings, and architectural coating systems. We support projects from specification through to application, not just product supply.

In this role, you will manage your territory across Brisbane, strengthen trade relationships, and work closely with internal teams to support project delivery and ongoing business growth.

Responsibilities

Build and grow strong relationships across applicators, builders, distributors, and trade partners

Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities across a growth-focused territory

Use your practical trade knowledge to provide advice on product selection and application

Support customers through the full project lifecycle, from specification to completion

Conduct regular site visits, training, and technical support on-site and remotely

Strengthen distributor and trade store relationships through education and engagement





Partner closely with internal sales & technical teams to ensure smooth project handovers & execution support

Manage your territory pipeline, accounts, and follow-ups with strong ownership and discipline

Coordinate samples, project handovers, and on-the-ground support where required

About You

Background in rendering, coatings or a relevant construction trade or account management within building products

Strong understanding of coatings systems and real-world application (highly regarded)

Proven ability to build relationships and actively generate new business (hunter mindset essential)

Operationally strong with CRM usage, order follow-ups, and territory management

Strong service ethic, ensuring consistent and reliable customer support

Confident communicator across trade and commercial stakeholders

Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role

Highly organised with robust time management and ownership of your territory

Motivated to grow a long-term career in sales and account management
