Grafton Base Hospital & Health Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department on a contract basis. This is an excellent prospect to contribute to emergency care in a regional setting, with a contract running from now through to 25 October 2026. Based in Grafton, NSW, this role offers the chance to work in a dynamic emergency environment where your clinical skills and experience will make a real difference.

- Emergency Department nursing with a focus on triage and acute patient care
n
- Contract position, approximately 4 weeks, starting as soon as possible
n
- Regional location in the Clarence Valley with access to a supportive clinical team
n

Preferred Requirements

n

n




- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
n
- Demonstrated experience working in an Emergency Department
n
- Proven competence in triage assessment and patient prioritisation
n
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
n
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
n

Preferred Qualifications

n

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
n
- Post-graduate qualification or experience in Emergency Nursing
n
- Additional certifications in trauma or acute care nursing
n
