We are looking for an Engineering & Product Manager to join our Leadership Team and lead Turbosmart's engineering department through its next stage of growth.

n

This is a strategic and transformational leadership role responsible for defining and executing our engineering strategy, with a core focus on building and leading a high-performing department to ensure our engineering capabilities support continued growth, innovation, and product development.

n

You will operate at both the strategic and operational level, partnering closely with the Leadership Team on company strategy while providing clear leadership and direction across the engineering department.

n

Key responsibilities

n

- Define and own the engineering department strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
n
- Ensure engineering investment is focused on the areas that deliver the greatest customer and business value
n
- Lead engineering projects from concept through delivery, coordinating scope, timelines, resources, risks, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to agreed requirements.
n
- Own and oversee the New Product Process (NPP) through concept to delivery
n
- Deliver projects to agreed timelines, with timesheet tracking and budget allocation.
n
- Build, lead, and continuously evolve a high-performing engineering team.
n
- Establish an organisation structure that supports scale, accountability, autonomy, and effective collaboration.

- Create a culture of engineering excellence, ownership, transparency, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
n

You will bring:

n

n
- 10+ year's experience leading engineering departments at leadership / executive team level.
n
- A background in the aftermarket automotive industry or aeronautical industry (desirable)
n
- Strong project management skills, with experience in delivering projects to agreed timelines, budgets, and timesheet tracking.
n
- Proven experience leading and managing a New Product Process (NPP) from initial idea through to delivery.
n
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
n
- A track record of improving engineering effectiveness, quality, and predictability.
n
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
- A leadership style that combines high standards with empathy, transparency, and accountability.
n
