offering flexible working arrangements. As a Room Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that our guests expect from our accommodation facilities. Your work will directly contribute to creating a welcoming setting and ensuring guest satisfaction during their stay with us.
Key responsibilities
Clean and prepare guest rooms to the highest standards, including changing bed linen, towels and other furnishings
Perform thorough cleaning of bathrooms, including sanitising fixtures, cleaning mirrors and floors
Vacuum carpets, mop hard floors and dust all surfaces within guest rooms
Restock guest amenities such as toiletries, tea and coffee supplies, and other essentials
Report any maintenance issues, damage or defects to management promptly
Ensure rooms are inspected and meet quality standards before guest arrival
Follow established cleaning schedules and prioritise room turnover efficiently
Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment by following health and safety protocols
Respond professionally to guest requests and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
What we're looking for
Previous experience in housekeeping, room cleaning or a similar hospitality role (preferred but not essential)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards
Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift items and work in various positions throughout the day
Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to work casual hours as required
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
Understanding of health and safety practices in a hospitality setting
Willingness to learn and adapt to our cleaning procedures and standards
