We are recruiting on behalf of an independent veterinary hospital in North Richmond, NSW.

Are you an experienced veterinary nurse with demonstrated leadership experience, ready to step into a dedicated management role and take ownership of the day-to-day clinical operations of a busy hospital?

As the Clinical Operations Manager, you will coordinate the clinical day, lead the nursing and kennel teams, keep cases and procedures moving, and help ensure the hospital runs smoothly from the first huddle through to final handover.

This is not a nursing roster position. It is a hands-on management role overseeing the clinical side of the business and working closely with the Practice Manager, Lead Veterinarian, Lead Receptionist and wider veterinary team.

Located at the foothills of the Blue Mountains, North Richmond offers relaxed semi-rural living with easy access to Sydney, national parks and the Hawkesbury River.

About you

- Certificate IV or higher qualification in Veterinary Nursing, or equivalent
- Substantial senior veterinary nursing experience and demonstrated team leadership experience
- Ready to move into a management role focused on clinical operations and workflow coordination
- Calm under pressure, highly organised and able to reset priorities as the day changes
- A clear, supportive communicator who can coach, delegate and provide constructive feedback
- Committed to quality patient care, client service and a positive team workplace
