As a franchisee of A2Z Services, we specialise in providing high-quality cleaning services to government departments, supported independent living (NDIS) accommodation providers, serviced apartments, and remote communities etc. Our services cover general cleaning, deep cleaning, carpet and floor care, and commercial housekeeping.

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Housekeeper to join our team. The role involves performing housekeeping and cleaning duties in commercial accommodation settings such as NDIS-supported living facilities, serviced apartments, motels, and government-arranged residences. The ideal candidate will follow structured cleaning schedules and hygiene protocols to ensure all rooms and facilities meet health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas in commercial accommodation premises.
- Dust and polish furniture, wipe surfaces, and disinfect high-touch areas.
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, and polish floors; shampoo carpets as required.
- Empty bins and dispose of rubbish in designated waste areas.
- Clean kitchen appliances, cupboards, countertops, and wash dishes or cooking utensils.
- Strip and make beds, change linen and towels, and replenish bedding supplies.
- Restock items such as toiletries,



drinking glasses, tea/coffee amenities, and writing materials.
- Follow cleaning schedules and checklists provided by the company or clients. • Use cleaning agents and equipment safely and according to operating procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or supply shortages to the supervisor. Selection Criteria

Qualifications & Skills
- No formal qualification is required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Previous experience in commercial housekeeping or cleaning is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with cleaning products, chemicals, and workplace health and safety practices.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, or evenings as required. Workplace Context
- This role involves working at multiple commercial accommodation sites, including NDIS group homes, serviced apartments, and government-contracted residences across Alice Springs and remote NT communities.
- Transport between sites may be arranged by the company where applicable.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $67,000.00 – $68,000.00 per year
