The Role

Acting as a strategic 2IC directly to the CEO, this unique commercial leadership role serves as the critical link between the market, the customer, and the products the business develops. Designed for a highly ambitious person who blends a core technical engineering background with a natural, relentless sales flair, this role focuses on driving product-to-market fit, commercialising current innovations, and spearheading international expansion. Based in Sydney with global travel, you will execute high-level strategic initiatives alongside the CEO to build the company's core product position globally.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Commercialisation & Market Alignment: Act as the critical link between the market and product development across all major divisions, ensuring singularity in the commercial product strategy and securing strong product-to-market fit.
- Executive Support & Operational Execution: Serve as a dedicated operational 2IC to the CEO, bridging the gap between traditional sales execution and general management to drive and execute high-level product and market initiatives.
- US Market Launch: Lead international market assessments and expansion projects, with an immediate mandate to commercialise a newly developed technical product into the US, including on-the-ground market tours and fit evaluations.
- Global Export Expansion:



Drive targeted export growth strategies for flagship product lines across key established and emerging international markets, including Korea, India, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Colombia, Peru, and Chile.
- Market Insight & Trend Analysis: Conduct deep-dive market research and investigative questioning to read trends, interpret complex customer needs, and identify commercial opportunities that inform future product design and manufacturability.
- Global Partner & Supplier Engagement: Build and leverage relationships with key global partners through regular factory visits and international trade shows, expanding sourcing capabilities and technical market knowledge.

- Inquisitive Problem Solving & Innovation: Possesses an entrepreneurial mindset with a deep desire to learn, challenge the status quo, and constantly ask "how can it be done better" to drive customer-centric innovation over basic incremental extensions.
- Executive Collaboration & Execution: Highly ambitious and tenacious, yet humble and patient enough to be mentored and developed directly by the CEO over time. A proactive executor capable of turning high-level vision into reality on the ground.
