As a Commercial Painter, you will carry out high-quality painting and surface preparation works across civil construction projects while maintaining safe work practices and attention to detail. You will work closely with our supervisor to ensure all painting tasks are completed efficiently, professionally and in line with project specifications and Australian standards. This is a physically demanding role, so applicants must be physically fit, reliable, and capable of performing heavy manual work for extended periods.

You must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol screening test.

Responsibilities:

- Providing painting/coating maintenance services and solutions to a broad range of industries,
- Adapting and determining different working environments and understanding the correct application of the product,
- Preparing surfaces for including sanding, patching, cleaning and priming,.
- Applying paints, coatings and finishes using brushes, rollers and spray equipment.
- Interpreting plans and specifications,
- Operating and maintaining painting tools, equipment and materials safely and effectively.
- Using sheets and other protective equipment, as required,
- Fixing cracks and holes, selecting,



preparing and applying paint and other finishes using appropriate equipment, such as rollers, sprays and fusion guns,
- Producing quality work in an unsupervised environment,
- Keeping records in line with the nature of the job,
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas,
- Liaising with clients, maintain records.

Relevant qualifications: At least 12 months` work experience in similar position White card and drivers` license.

Relevant skills: Solid knowledge of various painting techniques and tools

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Good communication and time management skills.

Experience in PU Foam and Elastomer spraying. Knowledge of Graco Reactor and fusion guns.

Relevant experience: At least 12 months` work experience is required.

Must be familiar with various painting and coating techniques and products.

This is a permanent, full-time role.

Salary package: $80,000 + super
