Role & Responsibilities
As a Commercial Property Manager within a small but growing team, you will primarily be responsible for day-to-day management of our growing portfolio of industrial, office & retail properties, including but not limited to:
- Handle maintenance issues - obtaining quotes, communicating with tradespeople & handling invoices
- Prepare documentation relating to the leasing of properties, such as management tenancy agreements, inspection reports, and bond documents
- Be responsible for preparing and distributing owner statements and accompanying payments
- Coordinate property inspections
- Make efforts to limit rental arrears
- Assist with rent reviews,
lease renewals and leasing of additional space to existing tenants
- Work closely with the commercial leasing team to ensure the minimal vacancy rates within the portfolio
- Regular updating to tenants and landlords with regard to property issues
- Provide property information and assistance to tenants as requested
What you bring:
Essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- High levels of personal responsibility, honesty, and integrity
- A proven ability to build solid client relationships
- Certificate of Registration and/or Licence to work as a real estate agent / property manager in the ACT and NSW (We can help you with this)
- Current driver’s licence & ability to occasionally use your own motor vehicle and mobile phone for work purposes
Desirable
- Experience in the commercial property sector
- Experience in the local property market
- An understanding of both local and national real estate markets
