We produce ambitious theatre with a focus on scale, craft and strong creative identity, creating work that brings independent producing and commercial ambition together.

Recent work includes American Psycho: The Musical, with seasons in Melbourne and Brisbane.

About the roleSee You Sunday is seeking expressions of interest from people who would like to join our committee and help shape the next stage of the company.

See You Sunday is an independent, not-for-profit theatre company producing ambitious, artist-led work for contemporary audiences. Our work combines strong creative identity with high production values, bringing together exceptional performers, creatives and collaborators to make theatre that feels bold, immediate and alive.

Following recent productions including American Psycho: The Musical, and with the company continuing to grow its producing activity, touring footprint and organisational capacity, we’re looking to broaden the skills, experience and perspectives represented on our committee.

This is an opportunity to contribute at a strategic level to an independent arts organisation entering an exciting period of growth.

What you’ll contributeCommittee members help provide governance, strategic oversight and practical support to See You Sunday’s leadership team.

Depending on your background and interests, this may include contributing to areas such as:

- Organisational strategy and long-term planning
- Governance and risk
- Financial oversight
- Fundraising, philanthropy and sponsorship




- Partnerships and business development
- Marketing, communications and audience development
- Legal and commercial matters
- Arts and cultural sector knowledge
- Supporting the organisation’s growth and sustainability

Committee members are not expected to be involved in the day-to-day production of shows.

Who we’d love to hear fromWe’re interested in hearing from people from a range of professional backgrounds.

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be particularly valuable:

- Arts and cultural leadership
- Producing or live performance
- Finance or accounting
- Legal and governance
- Fundraising and philanthropy
- Sponsorship and partnerships
- Marketing, publicity or communications
- Business development
- Commercial strategy
- Not-for-profit leadership

Previous committee or board experience is welcome, but it isn’t essential. More important is sound judgement, collaborative thinking, an interest in positive governance and a genuine enthusiasm for helping ambitious independent theatre thrive.

CommitmentThis is a voluntary committee position. Committee members attend scheduled meetings throughout the year and may contribute additional time to particular areas or projects depending on their expertise and availability.

We’re looking for people who are interested in making a meaningful, ongoing contribution rather than simply lending their name to the organisation.
