n What You'll Be Doing

- n
- Leading, coaching and supporting a team of communications and engagement professionals.n
- Overseeing the planning and delivery of strategic communications, campaigns, engagement activities and media management.n
- Driving strategic, engaging communications that support Kingston's priorities, manage reputational risk and connect with our diverse community.n
- Partnering across Council to ensure projects are clear, consistent and customer-focusedn
- Building great relationships and acting as a trusted advisor on communications and engagement, with plenty of variety in your portfolio.n

n About You

- n
- Proven experience in communications, PR or engagement (ideally in government or complex organisations).n
- Strong writing skills across a variety of channels (media, social, speeches, web, collateral).n
- A knack for building relationships and influencing outcomes.n
- Leadership skills with experience mentoring or supervising others.i>n
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field (or significant experience).n
