Compliance & Safety Manager

We're looking for an experienced Compliance & Safety Manager to lead our compliance, WHS and learning & development function, and to help us keep raising the bar.

About the role

Reporting to the EGM and overseeing the Compliance & Safety Coordinator, you'll own compliance obligations, safety systems,



audits and training requirements across the business — reducing risk exposure and driving a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing, coaching and developing the Compliance & Safety Coordinator
- Acting as escalation point for serious WHS incidents and hazards
- Owning the induction framework, on-site audit schedule and SWMS governance
- Leading ISO accreditation processes and representing the business in audits
- Owning tender compliance, document control and policy governance
- Managing the modern slavery risk reduction strategy
- Reporting WHS performance and trends to senior leadership

What you'll bring

- 3+ years' experience in Compliance, WHS, Risk or HR, including leading or supervising a team member
- Proven ability to manage, coach and develop a direct report
- Strong attention to detail for compliance, audit and legal documentation
- Confident, senior-level stakeholder and regulator engagement skills
- Sound understanding of WHS legislation and compliance frameworks
- Resilience and adaptability in a role that evolves with business need
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence directing compliance/HR systems

Highly desirable: Experience with Safety Culture, Zoho or similar platforms; Diploma of HR Management and/or Cert IV in WHS.
