QUICKCORE Grooving & Grinding is seeking an experienced and reliable Concrete Cutter / Grooving Operator to join our team.

We work across commercial, civil and infrastructure projects throughout Sydney, regional NSW and interstate. This is a hands-on role for someone who is confident operating concrete cutting and grooving equipment, takes pride in their work and can work safely and efficiently on site.

About the Role

Your responsibilities may include

- Concrete grooving
- Concrete cutting and sawing
- Road and floor sawing
- Hand sawing and ring sawing
- Core drilling
- Wall sawing
- Concrete grinding
- Cutting concrete, asphalt and masonry
- Setting up and operating cutting, grooving and drilling equipment
- Measuring and marking out work areas
- Reading plans, measurements and job requirements
- Inspecting, maintaining and looking after machinery, tools and equipment
- Completing work safely, accurately and efficiently
- Working alongside supervisors, clients, site managers and other trades
- General site duties associated with concrete cutting and grooving
- Travelling to project sites across NSW and interstate as required

What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in concrete cutting, grooving, sawing or a similar role
- Is confident operating concrete cutting and grooving equipment
- Is reliable, punctual and takes responsibility for their work
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Has a robust understanding of site safety
- Is physically capable of performing hands-on construction work
- Can follow plans, measurements and instructions accurately




- Communicates well with supervisors, clients and other trades
- Is flexible with travel and varying project locations
- Takes care of equipment and maintains a clean and organised work area

Requirements
- Construction White Card
- Current Australian driver licence
- Relevant concrete cutting, grooving or construction experience
- Ability and willingness to travel to project sites as required
- Full Australian working rights

Experience operating grooving equipment, road saws, floor saws, hand saws, ring saws, wall saws and core drilling equipment will be highly regarded. Additional construction licences, tickets and relevant machinery experience are advantageous.
