About the role

Caliber Concrete Cutting is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Concrete Cutting Specialist to join our team in Sydney, NSW. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality concrete cutting and demolition services to our diverse client base across the construction, renovation, and infrastructure sectors. As a Concrete Cutting Specialist, you will operate specialised cutting equipment and machinery to precisely cut, remove, and process concrete structures.

This role is essential to ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards, contributing directly to the success of our operations and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

- Operate and maintain concrete cutting equipment, including diamond wire saws, hydraulic saws, and wall saws
- Perform concrete cutting and demolition work on residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects
- Measure, mark, and plan cutting lines accurately according to project specifications and drawings
- Follow health and safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Manage dust and debris removal, ensuring work sites remain clean and safe
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other team members to meet project deadlines
- Inspect equipment before use and report any maintenance issues or faults
- Adhere to site-specific safety procedures and environmental regulations
- Document work completed and maintain accurate records of tasks performed

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in concrete cutting, demolition, or related construction trades
- Knowledge of operating concrete cutting machinery and understanding of different cutting techniques
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements in the construction industry
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging environments and weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately to specifications




- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to safety standards
- Valid Australian driver's licence (preferred)
