Gardenia Early Learning is looking for passionate Early Childhood Educators to join our team and work casually across our Brisbane centres.

This role is a little different from a traditional centre-based casual position. You will be employed by Gardenia Early Learning, with the opportunity to work across our network of centres while still having flexibility around where you are willing to work.

Our Brisbane locations include:

Clontarf | Deception Bay | Bray Park | Brisbane City | Ellen Grove | Belmont

You don't need to be available for every location. You can nominate the Gardenia centres you would be happy to work at – simply tell us your preferred location/s in your cover letter when applying.

Travel between Gardenia centres





When you join our casual team, we will discuss your preferred locations and determine a home centre with you prior to employment.

Where you agree to work at an eligible Gardenia location outside of your nominated home centre, a travel allowance will be provided in accordance with the arrangements agreed with you prior to employment.

This means you know from the beginning which locations you're agreeing to work across and how the travel arrangements will apply.

Who are we looking for?

We'd love to hear from people at all stages of their early childhood career, including those looking to enter the sector, educators currently studying and experienced qualified educators.

You may:

- Be looking to commence a traineeship in Early Childhood Education and Care, where we can support you to gain the required workplace hours while completing your qualification





- Be currently studying towards your Certificate III or Diploma and looking for employment alongside your studies

- Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent

- Genuinely enjoy working alongside children and building meaningful relationships

- Value respectful, responsive and inclusive practice

- Understand the importance of child safety and children's rights

- Be reliable, adaptable and comfortable working with different teams

- Be open to reflection, feedback and professional growth

- Want the flexibility of casual work while still feeling connected and belonging to one organisation

- Be interested in progressing into a permanent Gardenia role in the future

Whether you're just beginning your early childhood career, currently studying or already qualified, we're looking for people who align with our values and want to learn, develop and grow with Gardenia.

You will also need to meet all regulatory and employment requirements applicable to your role.
