Spinifex Recruiting is currently seeking experienced and passionate Childcare Educators to join a local government early childhood education service in Byron Bay.
This is a excellent opportunity for qualified educators looking for consistent casual work, with the potential for the assignment to continue through to 2027 and potentially longer.
The Role
Working within an early childhood education environment, you'll help provide a safe, engaging and supportive environment for children across a range of age groups, from babies through to preschool.
Ideally, we are looking for someone available 4 days per week, however applications from educators available anywhere between 3-5 days per week are encouraged.
What we're looking for
- Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Previous experience working in a childcare/early childhood education setting in Australia
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current National Child Safety Training
- Experience working across different age groups, from babies through to preschool
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Reliable, skilled and able to work well as part of a team
- Strong communication and a positive, can-do attitude
