This is an entry-level food manufacturing role, with full training provided. Previous food manufacturing or warehouse experience is an advantage but is not essential. The starting rate is $33.85 per hour plus relevant shift loading for casual employees, with the same base rate applying if you are successful in transitioning to a permanent position.

About the Role

n

As a Decanter, you will be responsible for handling and preparing raw materials and ingredients for production.

n

Your duties may include:

n

n
- Decanting raw materials and ingredients into production equipment or containers
n
- Lifting, carrying and moving bags, containers and ingredients weighing up to 25kg
n
- Operating and working around production equipment
n
- Weighing and checking ingredients to production specifications
n
- Completing quality and production checks
n
- Following recipes, procedures and production instructions
n
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic work area
n
- Following food safety, quality and workplace health and safety requirements
n
- Completing repetitive manual handling tasks
n
- Working as part of a production team to meet daily production requirements
n

Important – Physical Requirements

n

This is a physically demanding, hands-on role involving:

n

n




- Regular manual handling and lifting of materials up to 25kg
n
- Repetitive lifting, carrying and moving of ingredients
n
- Standing and walking for extended periods
n
- Repetitive tasks throughout the shift
n
- Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
n

n

Applicants must be able to safely perform the inherent physical requirements of the role, with reasonable adjustments considered where applicable.

Previous experience in food manufacturing, production, warehousing, decanting or other manual handling roles is advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided.

Shifts

n

We have opportunities across our production shifts, including:

n

n
- Morning: approximately 6:00am – 2:06pm, Monday – Friday
n
- Afternoon: approximately 2:00pm – 10:06pm, Monday – Friday
n
- Night: approximately 10:00pm – 6:06am, Monday – Friday
n
