The prospect
n
We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent mechanical skills to repair and maintain plant and equipment in a workshop workplace. The successful applicant will be required to utilise a range of trade skills to provide a customer focused service.

Based in Brisbane and reporting to the Service Manager, the responsibilities of this role are:

- Service and repair a range of mechanical equipment including lighting towers, generators pumps and engines within a workshop environment
n
- Complete overhaul of mechanical equipment
n
- Diagnostic ability for diesel engines (we will train you if you have not had this direct experience before)
n
- Ability to process reports and paperwork
n
- Completion of customer work to high standards and within established timeframes
n
- Provide product technical support both internally and externally
n
- Onsite commissioning and testing when required
n

What you must have

- High energy, tenacious attitude,
and a drive to succeed
n
- A mechanical trade qualification and a current driver's licence
n
- An ability to learn quickly, think on your feet and be flexible
n
- Discipline to manage your own time unsupervised
n
- Be comfortable using a computer including systems for reporting requirements
n
- Be able to build relationships quickly and be customer focused in a service environment
n
