An exciting prospect exists for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to take the reins of one of the Gold Coast's most enviable beachfront venues.

n

With a loyal membership base, strong local following, stunning ocean views, and an established kitchen team already in place, we're looking for a leader who can build on solid foundations and help elevate our food offering to the next level.

This role offers more than just day-to-day kitchen management. You'll play an integral part in an upcoming kitchen renovation project, working alongside management on the design, functionality, workflow and equipment selection to help create a best-in-class culinary operation for years to come.

About the Role

n

As Head Chef, you will:

n

Lead, mentor and develop an established and committed kitchen team

n

Drive consistency, quality and innovation across a high-volume operation

n

Manage rostering, food costs, purchasing and stock control

n

Oversee menu development and seasonal offerings

n

Ensure compliance with food safety and WHS standards

n

Foster a positive, high-performance culture within the kitchen

n

Be a key stakeholder in our upcoming kitchen renovation, including kitchen design, workflow optimisation, equipment selection and operational planning.

About You

You are:

An experienced Head Chef or exceptional Sous Chef ready to step up

A strong people leader who enjoys developing teams

n

Commercially minded with a focus on profitability and efficiency

n

Experienced in high-volume hospitality environments

n

Passionate about delivering quality food and memorable guest experiences

n

Forward-thinking, organised and driven to continuously improve standards
