Job Description

We are seeking a Social Media Manager to join So Social PTY LTD in Hurstville, NSW. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in one of Australia's fastest growing social media agencies.

Key responsibilities

n

Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across all major platforms to drive brand awareness and engagement

n

Create, curate and manage high-quality content including graphics, videos, copy and multimedia assets tailored to each platform

n

Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and build positive community relationships

n

Analyse social media performance metrics and reporting, using data insights to optimise campaigns and inform strategy

n

Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting and performance tracking

n

Stay current with social media trends, algorithm changes and best practices to keep our brand competitive

n

Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, creative and product to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment

n

Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify opportunities and emerging trends

n

Schedule posts and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure consistent and timely content delivery

n

Engage in community management, fostering positive relationships with followers and brand advocates

n

What we're looking for

n

Proven experience working as a Social Media Manager or in a similar digital marketing role, preferably for 2+ years

n

Strong knowledge of major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Twitter/X

n

Demonstrable experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms

n

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging, on-brand content

n

Creative thinking and the ability to generate fresh ideas and innovative campaign concepts

n





Robust understanding of social media advertising and paid promotion strategies

n

Proficiency with graphic design tools or the ability to brief designers effectively

n

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst meeting deadlines

n

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions

n

Understanding of digital marketing principles and how social media fits into broader marketing strategies

n

Excellent organisational and project management abilities

n

A passion for social media and digital trends with genuine enthusiasm for the role
