Job Description

You'll be the visual voice of the Verdex brand across everything a customer sees — catalogues, website, EDMs, packaging, trade displays and social. This is a hands-on design role with real variety: one day you're laying out a 100-page product catalogue, the next you're building banners for a campaign launch. You'll work closely with marketing, product and sales, and report to the Head of Marketing.

Key responsibilities

Design and layout product catalogues, brochures, spec sheets and sales collateral in InDesign

n

Produce digital assets — website banners, landing page graphics, EDMs, paid ad creative and social content

n

Edit and retouch product photography, and manage the image library so assets are consistent and easy to find

n

Support the design of packaging, labels, assembly instructions and safety decals in line with product requirements

n

Create trade show, showroom and signage artwork, including large-format and vehicle graphics

n

Develop other artworks and presentations as required

n

Prepare print-ready artwork and manage the relationship with printers and external suppliers through to delivery

n

Work with the R&D; team to turn technical specs and features into clear, benefit-led visuals — diagrams, infographics and application imagery

n

Manage multiple briefs at once and keep projects moving to deadline

Assist with development and maintenance of comprehensive brand guidelines, ensuring all templates and visual assets remain consistent and high-quality

n

About you

n

3-5+ years' experience as a graphic designer, ideally working with product industries

n

Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in lieu

n

Expert-level Adobe Creative Cloud — InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

n

Strong print production knowledge

n

Meticulous attention to detail, especially with technical specs, dimensions and product data

n

Self-starter who can take a brief, ask the right questions and run with it
