About the Role

We're looking for an experienced OpenMage LTS / Magento Developer to join our team on the Gold Coast.

n

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of key development projects while maintaining and improving the platforms that support our growing organisation.

n

You'll work across both frontend and backend development, supporting our B2B and B2C websites and collaborating with teams across the business. You'll have exposure to a diverse range of technologies, challenging projects and plenty of opportunity to make an impact.

What You'll Be Doing

n

- Maintain, develop and improve existing software solutions, primarily OpenMage LTS / Magento
n
- Design, implement and support frontend and backend website features
n
- Build and maintain Magento extensions
n
- Extend and customise core Magento functionality
n
- Work with Magento models and themes
n
- Integrate systems and businesses using internal and external APIs
n
- Support technology solutions across different areas of the business
n
- Contribute to ongoing development and improvement of our B2B and B2C platforms

About You

n

- Demonstrated experience with Magento backend development
n
- Strong experience building and maintaining Magento extensions
n
- Experience extending and customising core Magento functionality
n
- Solid understanding of Magento models
n
- Experience integrating systems through APIs
n
- Experience with Zend Framework
n
- Experience customising Magento themes
n
- MySQL experience is advantageous
n
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work collaboratively across the business
