HC Drivers - Unanderra / Newcastle Based

Hornby Transport Services is seeking drivers to fill local HC tipper roles within the business. Working with a modern fleet and state of the art technology, you will be a part of Hornby Transport Services commitment to safety, sustainability, and efficiency.

What does the job look like?

n

The job involves operating semi tippers/ BD Tippers to deliver freight to and from Sydney, Newcastle and rural areas. This is a Monday to Friday position with some overtime Saturdays as required. Penalties paid on all overtime hours.

Key areas:

n

n
- Participating and committing to safety standards and COR requirements at all times
n
- Must have road ranger experience
n
- Daily pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment
n
- Complying with the HTS Operations, Policies and Procedures
n
- Managing fatigue in line with relevant fatigue guidelines
n

- You will have an impeccable safety record, with at relevant experience driving heavy vehicles.

- A commitment to safety in everything you do

- Valuable understanding of load restraint
n
- The ability to safely manage your fatigue

- High-qualitycustomer serviceand communication skills

- Experience with or willingness to learn in-cab technology
n
- Must have Road Ranger experience
n
- Positions based out of Newcastle.

You will be required to meet Hornby Transport Services employment criteria which will include, but not be limited to, a driver history check and full pre employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol test.
