We are a growing construction and renovation company delivering high-quality residential renovations, extensions and custom projects across Perth. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team and play a key role in shaping accurate, professional project costings from concept through to contract.

About the Role

As our Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for residential renovation and construction projects. You will work closely with designers, project managers, suppliers and directors to ensure projects are priced correctly, allowances are realistic, and margins are protected.

This role suits someone who is detail-driven, commercially minded, and comfortable working across multiple projects at varying stages.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential renovations, extensions and construction projects
- Analyse drawings, specifications and scopes of work
- Build and maintain trade and supplier pricing schedules
- Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotes
- Prepare budgets, cost plans, variations and final contract pricing
- Ensure pricing aligns with current market rates and company margins
- Assist with value engineering and alternative product selections
- Maintain estimating databases, templates and cost libraries
- Liaise with designers, supervisors and management to clarify scope and pricing
- Support contract preparation and handover to construction team
- Manage and compare quotes from trade teams

About You

- Proven experience as an Estimator in construction and/or renovations




- Robust understanding of residential building methods and sequencing
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and schedules
- Confident working with suppliers and subcontractors
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience with Western Australia regulations and councils

Software & Systems (Preferred)

- Estimating software (e.g. Buildxact, Cubit, CostX or similar)
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience working with supplier price lists and schedules
