The Opportunity We are partnering with an established South Australian developer/builder with more than 20 years of experience delivering residential, commercial and industrial projects.

With a strong pipeline of projects and a reputation for well-managed delivery, the business offers the opportunity to work across high-value developments within a stable and commercially focused environment.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join their team. Working closely with the Director of Development and project delivery teams, you will play an important role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of projects from procurement through to completion.

This is an opportunity for a Contract Administrator who enjoys taking ownership, working closely with stakeholders and having genuine visibility across the broader project.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day contract administration of projects, supporting strong commercial outcomes and ensuring projects remain well controlled throughout delivery.

Key responsibilities will include

- Administer contracts from procurement through to project completion
- Prepare, review and manage subcontractor agreements and scopes of work
- Manage progress claims, variations, extensions of time and subcontractor correspondence
- Monitor project costs, commitments and budgets
- Review subcontractor pricing and assess commercial implications
- Work closely with project managers, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers
- Assist with procurement and subcontractor engagement
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout project delivery




- Maintain accurate project documentation and contractual records
- Support forecasting, cost reporting and financial administration
- Contribute to the successful delivery of projects across cost, quality and programme

You will work closely with experienced senior leadership and have the prospect to develop a strong understanding of the commercial and development aspects of each project.

We are looking for a Contract Administrator who is commercially minded, organised and confident managing relationships across a project environment.

You will ideally have

- 3+ years' experience in contract administration within commercial construction or development
- Experience administering subcontractor packages from procurement through to completion
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, variations, progress claims and cost control
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Confidence communicating with subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain strong project documentation
- A proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership of your responsibilities
