PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

Provide professional Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Control System engineering services associated with electric power and distribution network. The SCADA Engineer works within a small team of Engineers responsible for the deployment, support, maintenance, upgrades and configuration of the Power Services SCADA System. This role designs and implements SCADA Systems from the Remote Terminal Unit (RTU)

through to the Energy Management System (EMS) used to monitor and control power networks across the Northern Territory. This includes working after-hours and working in remote areas as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The “WHAT” to be delivered

- Design, document, implement and maintain essential SCADA and control systems components for electric power and distribution networks.
- Provide appropriate and timely technical advice on matters relating to SCADA and control systems.
- Work with a constructive style to design and implement solutions collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.




- Support the technical and professional development of junior members of the team.
- Participation in an on-call roster and intrastate travel may also be required.
- Carry out duties in accordance with Power and Water's safety, environmental and quality policy, safety principles, corporate values and

Qualification and Skills Experience

Essential • Mandatory minimum 3- or 4-year Science or Engineering degree • Experience in the design, documentation,
