We are looking for a passionate and hard working casual cook or chef to join our team at The Lake Illawarra Hotel. You will be working in a kitchen with a team of fun and positive chefs.

We want someone who takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude and a growth mindset. We are passionate about producing great food, from pub classics to fresh, seasonal specials.

This is a casual role, with around 20-30 hours per week.

If you take advantage of this terrific opportunity and are successful, you will work with a outstanding team who aspire to produce consistent, quality meals, trading 7 days a week.

Qualifications and Experience

- Experience as a Cook/Chef is required
- Cooking in all sections
- Understanding of stock control and waste minimisation
- Knowledge of all kitchen procedures, food handling and workplace safety
- Food Safety Certificate

Tasks and Responsibilities

- Cooking pub/hotel food in accordance with the menu and standards
- Attention to detail in plating presentation.
- Placing food orders as required
- Ensure health and safety regulations and allergen control
