Corporate Communications Specialist

Are you a natural storyteller who can turn complex information into engaging and impactful communications? We're looking for a Corporate Communications Specialist to join our Corporate Affairs team and play a key role in enhancing our client's reputation, strengthening their brand, and connecting with employees, members, stakeholders, and the broader community.

In this role, you'll help deliver compelling internal and external communications that bring our purpose, values, and achievements to life. Working across a variety of channels, you'll create meaningful content, support communications campaigns, contribute to corporate events, and help ensure consistent messaging across the organisation.

What you'll be doing

- Develop and deliver engaging communications aligned with organisational priorities.
- Create content across multiple channels including intranet, newsletters, websites, social media, speeches, reports, events, and media materials.
- Manage and maintain internal communication channels, ensuring content is timely, accurate, and engaging.
- Identify and promote stories that showcase our people, culture, achievements, and community impact.
- Support communication campaigns and initiatives in partnership with project, change, and marketing teams.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of corporate and internal events.
- Support media and external communications activities, including monitoring media coverage and preparing communication materials.
- Ensure consistency of messaging, tone, and brand across all communications.
- Track communication metrics and provide insights to enhance performance and engagement.




- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and provide day-to-day communications support.

About You

You'll be a collaborative, proactive communications professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and managing multiple priorities.

You'll bring

- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
- Experience working within a corporate communications team or communications agency environment.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Proven experience creating engaging content that informs, inspires, and connects with diverse audiences.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within deadlines.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

Highly regarded

- Experience within financial services, banking, insurance, or another highly regulated industry.
- Exposure to media relations and external stakeholder engagement.
