Who we are looking for To be successful in this role you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications (AQF Level 7) in Social Work, or tertiary education with significant experience in human services.

- Demonstrated experience in working with CALD communities specifically with communities who arrive under the humanitarian program.

- Experience in community engagement; community education, and cross-sector liaison.

- Experience in case work and case management including counselling.

It would be a bonus if you have:
- Significant experience in working within a cross cultural environment.

- Experience working in the areas of public health issues and FDV.

- Have a robust connection with CALD communities.

What you will be doing

- Respond to Ask PEACE phone line,



complete client’s intake and provide immediate response accordingly.

- Provide culturally meaningfully case management and counselling support services for clients affected by gambling problems and/or BBV and/or other related issues and for those at risk and/or affected by COVID 19 and/or floods and drought (or any other natural disasters).

- Work collaboratively with significant others when relevant, with faith leaders and other service providers including people with lived experience and volunteers to improve people’s health outcomes and support networks.
