We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to join our Banyo Head Office team. This role may be structured as either full time or part-time during school hours for the right candidate.
n
About the Role
n
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating purchasing activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, managing supplier relationships, and supporting stock availability across multiple brands and warehouse locations.
n
The position plays a critical role in ensuring products are available when required, inventory records remain accurate, and purchasing and replenishment activities are executed effectively.
n
You will work closely with Warehouse, Sales, Marketing, Finance, suppliers, and logistics partners to support the day-to-day operation of the business.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Raise and manage purchase orders with local and international suppliers.
n
- Monitor supplier lead times, order progress, and delivery schedules.
n
- Build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
n
- Manage supplier communications regarding shortages, delays, and supply issues.
n
- Coordinate inbound shipments and liaise with freight providers and logistics partners.
n
- Maintain supplier records and purchasing documentation.
n
n
Inventory Planning & Stock Management
n
n
- Monitor stock levels across all brands and warehouse locations.
n
- Analyse inventory performance and support replenishment planning.
n
- Coordinate stock transfers between warehouses.
n
- Produce out-of-stock reporting and inventory analysis.
n
- Assist with forecasting and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
n
- Work to minimise excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
n
- Investigate stock discrepancies and support stocktakes and inventory audits.
n
n
Product & ERP Administration
n
n
- Create and maintain product codes and inventory records.
n
- Maintain accurate product master data within business systems.
n
- Manage promotional packs, bundles, kits, and product configurations.
n
- Support new product launches, repacks, and product discontinuations.
n
- Ensure inventory and purchasing systems remain accurate and up to date.
n
n
Cross-Functional Collaboration
n
n
- Work closely with Warehouse teams on inbound stock, transfers, and inventory movements.
n
- Coordinate promotional pack requirements with Marketing, Sales and Warehouse teams.
n
- Support Sales with stock availability reporting.
n
- Assist with product compliance documentation and supplier requirements.
n
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across purchasing and inventory processes.
n

- Understanding of inventory forecasting, replenishment, and stock control principles.
