Job Description

We have an exciting hands-on leadership opportunity as our Despatch Leading Hand based at our busy Yatala facility in Queensland. In this fast-paced role, you will lead and motivate the Despatch team, keep daily operations running smoothly, and play a key part in ensuring customer orders are packed, checked, and delivered on time, in full. Reporting to the Despatch and Receiving Supervisor, you will bring at least 2 years' experience in a similar role, strong attention to detail, excellent troubleshooting capabilities, and the confidence to think on your feet.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate the daily despatch schedule
n
- Ensure despatch instructions are being followed and rosters are complied with
n
- Liaise with other departments as necessary
n
- Check orders that are packed for despatch/export
n
- Ensure checking and completion of transport documentation
n
- Lead team and drive results within a manufacturing environment
n
- 2 years' experience in a similar role
n
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership qualities
n




- Clear and articulate oral and written communication skills
n
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
n
- Robust customer service and integrity
n
- Ability to effectively influence actions and opinions of others
n
- Experience with ERP systems or (Infor M3 or similar)
