About the Role

n

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented draftsperson to play a key role in supporting our design and documentation processes. Working closely with our experienced designers and product developers, you'll assist in preparing, maintaining, and updating a range of technical manual documentation used across the business.



We are open to candidates based in Sydney and Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:

n

- Produce general arrangement drawings for inclusion in technical manuals and product literature.
n
- Maintain and update existing technical manuals, drawings, and documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
n
- Support the design team in the development of new aluminium systems and components.
n
- Contribute to concept designs, detailing, and prototyping within the R&D; environment.
n

Software Used:

n

- AutoCAD – for drafting and detailing.
n
- Autodesk Inventor – for 3D modelling and design development.
n
- Adobe InDesign – for producing and updating technical documentation.
n

n

About You:

n

n
- Proficient in AutoCAD with a solid understanding of Inventor and InDesign (or willingness to learn).
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality technical documentation.
n
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
n
- A proactive attitude and the ability to manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced R&D; environment.
n
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, construction, or façade-related industry will be highly regarded.
