We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer with building services experience to join our Sydney team. The successful candidates will be working with a small team to deliver a steady pipeline of exciting tasks & nationally based projects.

The Role

n

The role is ideal for a proven Electrical Engineer.

n

Within the team of skilled professionals, you will have the opportunity to take charge of projects & tasks, engage with clients and engage with the directors. With exposure to a range of projects from small to medium projects, and some of Australia's largest projects across the Logistics, Commercial & Industrial sectors.
n You will be expected to liaise with clients, architects, and other members of our internal team with confidence and clarity.

n

You will be committed to the development of high-quality design solutions for our clients by having a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles, standards, and practical design experience.

n

Your responsibilities & tasks as an Electrical Engineer will include but not limited to:

n

- Perform electrical services design from concept, detail design, contract documentation and construction documentation.
n
- Carry out calculations & complete reports as required for specific pre-construction requirements.
n
- Perform electrical engineering design calculations such as PowerCAD, AGI32 and Dialux.
n
- Identify safety risks through contemporary Safety in Design methods, ensuring legislative compliance.
n
- Provide specifications & detailed scope of work documents.
n
- Manage projects including coordination with other services.
n
- Attend regular site inspections & provide reports/defect lists.
n

About You

n





As an experienced Electrical Engineer in the team, you will participate in all aspects of the project from start to finish. The requirements outlined as:

n

Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree.

n

Minimum 5 years' experience post Degree in electrical engineering and experience.

n

Relevant experience working on building services projects as an Electrical Engineer .

n

Experience in preparing technical reports & design documentation.

n

Proven project, organisation, and time management skills.

n

Great client liaison and management skills.

n

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

n

Experience with preparing schematics & line diagrams. A good understanding of switchboards.

n

Excellent experience with Australian Standards, BCA & NSW regulations.

n

Proficiency with general admin softwares; MS Office,

n

Experience with specialist softwares; PowerCAD & AGI32 would be advantageous.

n

Experience with Dry Fire systems would be advantageous.

n

Knowledge of general drafting tools such as AutoCAD, REVIT & PDF editing software's. Experience with 3D project viewers like Forma Collab, Revitzo, BIM360 etc would be advantageous.

n

Experience working in electrical services design including lighting, general and specialist power, power distribution and reticulation.
