We are seeking an experienced and motivated Security Supervisor to lead our team at Kawana Shoppingworld on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. This is a full-time Thursday to Monday day roster, offering an excellent work-life balance while leading the day-to-day operational and administrative management of the security function, ensuring exceptional safety, security and customer service outcomes for our client, retailers and the wider community.

What you'll be doing

- Report to the Key Account Manager on all operational security and safety matters.
n
- Lead, mentor and coordinate the onsite security team to deliver outstanding service standards.
n
- Manage rosters, time and attendance, labour budgets and workforce performance.
n
- Ensure contractual compliance and adherence to site operating procedures and emergency management plans.
n
- Conduct audits, onboarding, inductions and ongoing site-specific training.
n
- Manage employee performance, coaching and corrective action where required.
n
- Coordinate ongoing training to maintain contemporary industry and contractual standards.
n
- Prepare operational reports and client performance documentation.
n
- Build strong relationships with centre management, retailers, emergency services and local stakeholders.
n
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, licensing requirements and company policies.
n
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance security operations and procedures.

About you
n
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a security supervisory or leadership role.
n
- Proven ability to lead and develop large operational teams.
n
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills.
n
- Robust understanding of security operations, emergency management and relevant legislation.
n
- Current QLD Security Provider licences including Security Officer (Unarmed), Crowd Control and Monitoring.
n
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
n
- Open Australian Class C Driver Licence.
n
- Full working rights in Australia.

- Confidence using workforce management and security reporting systems.
