What are we looking for?

We're hiring for both our Customer Experience Squad and our Track Team, people who thrive in a small team and embrace the PowerPlay culture of going above and beyond. We'd love to see:

- A positive, can-do attitude, the world's a brighter place when you smile
- Energy and enthusiasm you bring to every shift
- Clear, confident communication with customers and teammates
- Experience in retail or hospitality (highly regarded, not essential)
- A genuine enjoyment of working with people of all ages, children, teens and adults all love PowerPlay
- Reasonable computer skills, we use booking and race-day software
- A willingness to pick up technical basics, we'll teach you the rest
- First Aid Level 2 (a bonus, if you don't have it, we'll point you in the right direction)
- Availability across nights and weekends, when the action happens

About the Role(s) Casual roles are available in both our Customer Experience Squad and Track Team, roughly 10 to 20 hours per week.

Customer Experience Squad (Front of House)





Your main job is making sure every customer is greeted with a smile on the way in and leaves with an even bigger one. Tasks include:

- Greeting every customer with a genuine smile as they walk through the door
- Managing customer check-in and our point-of-sale system
- Taking bookings in person, over the phone and through our online system, we're busy, so it moves fast
- Answering customer questions about PowerPlay, you'll know the ins and outs after a bit of training
- Supporting the Track Team by fitting helmets and seatbelts, and passing on a few racing tips (you'll get plenty of track time yourself, so you'll know exactly how to help)
- Keeping the venue clean and presentable during quieter moments
- Helping make every shift great by going above and beyond for our guests

Track Team (Go-Kart Operations) You ensure safety is always maintained and that every customer is having fun. Tasks include:

- Looking after the Driver Zone, Pit Area and Race Track, keeping racing fun, fair and secure
- Confidently briefing and educating customers before they race
- Coaching customers to help them improve, and watching the smiles grow as lap times fall
- Correctly fitting helmets and safety harnesses, small tasks that need real attention to detail
- Keeping the venue and its operations presented at their best
