About the role

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude and is comfortable helping customers both in-store and over the phone. You'll be working across a broad range of products including electrical appliances, furniture, bedding and home entertainment, while supporting the sales team and helping ensure customers receive a high standard of service.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting and assisting customers in-store

- Answering customer enquiries in person and by phone

- Supporting the sales team with customer service and follow-up

- Processing sales, payments and general point-of-sale duties

- Accurate data entry and attention to detail, including strong spelling and written communication skills

- Assisting with product displays and general store presentation





- Learning our product range and helping customers find the right solution

- Assisting with customer collections, orders and general administration where required

- Working as part of a small, experienced team

- Some Saturday work will be required

About you

- Personable, dependable and comfortable talking with customers

- Good communication skills

- Willingness to learn

- Basic computer skills

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Previous retail, customer service or sales experience would be advantageous, but isn't essential
