DESCRIPTION

Based out of our Canberra branch, you will complete preventative maintenance and/or basic repair activities on Generator or component at the customer sites Special Bonus

- $5000 Sign on bonus available RESPONSIBILITIES

Applies the use of specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete basic repairs, including preparing required parts and tools Escalates unresolved issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians and/or Supervisor Performs preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products in the field Completes required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims via handwritten forms or business system input screens Completes training in line with skill and business requirements Maintains service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation Train electrical apprentices in and out of the branch Coordinate jobs and responsibilities within the branch and delegate workload Understand relevant electrical certification required in country Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation Complete in workshop repairs as required Engages with customer in a courteous and qualified manner ADDITIONAL INFORMATION





$5000 Sign on bonus applicable for this role Full Time / 38 hours per week Competitive Hourly Rate On Call Allowance provided Overtime as required - Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours All your Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms are provided and laundered Local Valid Drivers License is required Must be happy to travel and work between the Canberra and Sydney branches and stay in Sydney for a few days at a time while projects are completed TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING

Apprentice Trained Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (or equivalent) Diploma/Certificate from relevant technical institution Current relevant electrical certification / tickets Basic or Intermediate (preferred) level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products High Voltage / Low Voltage Experience preferred QUALIFICATIONS

Must be happy to travel and work between the Canberra and Sydney branches and stay in Sydney for a few days at a time while projects are completed Understand that there will be some more complex project work as well as routine maintenance Previous experience with Power Generation strongly desired Ability to work autonomously Approved 5k sign on bonus Job: Service Organization: Cummins Inc.
