The Jewish Community Council of Victoria (JCCV) is looking for a new Public Affairs Manager to help lead our advocacy, government relations and media strategy at a pivotal moment for our community. This is a newly created role, working closely with our CEO to strengthen the JCCV's voice with government, media and local councils — including our advocacy on the Royal Commission into Antisemitism and Social Cohesion. What you’ll do:

Lead policy submissions, briefings and advocacy campaigns Manage media relations and strategic communications Build relationships across government, media and community stakeholders Monitor legislative and policy developments affecting Victorian Jewish community What we’re looking for:

Experience in public affairs,



government relations or media Robust understanding of Victorian political and policy processes Excellent writing and stakeholder engagement skills Sound judgement and the ability to work across the political spectrum Melbourne | 0.8 FTE (32 hrs/week) | Reports to CEO The JCCV is a non-partisan organisation representing the Victorian Jewish community for over 80 years.
