New Plumbing Solutions is building our team of Water Metering Technicians for upcoming projects – and we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing – A Day in the Life This Is a Field-based Role

Start your day by checking your schedule

Head out to site in your fully equipped tool of trade vehicle

Attend approx 35+ residential or commercial properties per day

Perform field metering activities including Installing/replacing meters, installing/replacing data loggers and completing metering investigations, where required

Help our plumbers, as required

Accurately record meter specifications and site data using a mobile app

Log each completed job on our mobile app before moving to the next

Key Responsibilities, Include But Are Not Limited To

Water Meter replacement & assembly maintenance.

Follow correct replacement procedures.

Customer Service – face to face and phone

Perform tasks within budgets and time frames

Communicate regularly with office support team

Maintain accurate and timely digital job installation records

Ensure that all tasks are performed in a manner consistent with state and company OH&S; policies and procedures.

Work independently day to day and to a schedule





About You We are looking for reliable and dedicated individuals to help us on a variety of ongoing projects. The ideal candidates will possess the following:

Strong mechanical aptitude – proficient with hand tools.

A positive attitude, strong work ethic with a willingness to learn

An aptitude for problem solving

Attention to detail – Data Accuracy is a MUST!

Reliable, punctual, and capable of meeting deadlines

Excellent communication and customer service skills

The ability to work under supervision both individually and occasionally in a team setting.

Able to do a lot of bending, squatting and walking (physical fitness)

Ability to work in most weather conditions.

Flexible and comfortable with daily travel

A current driver's licence

A red/ white card
