Dental Assistant – Experienced

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our modern, newly expanded dental practice on the Gold Coast.

This role would suit someone who is comfortable working in a busy clinical environment, takes initiative and can work autonomously once trained.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include

- Providing a high standard of patient care and support throughout treatment

- Chairside assisting for general, restorative, cosmetic and complex dental procedures

- Assisting with implant procedures (training will be provided)

- Preparing surgeries, instruments and materials for treatment





- Maintaining strict sterilisation and infection control standards

- Keeping clinical areas clean, stocked and organised

- Assisting with general clinic maintenance and daily clinical workflow

- Supporting reception and administrative duties when required

What we’re looking for The successful candidate will be:

- Experienced in dental assisting (essential)

- Confident with dental terminology and clinical procedures

- Reliable, punctual and well presented

- Proactive, self-motivated and comfortable using initiative

- Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision once trained

- Friendly and professional with solid communication skills

- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

- Comfortable working efficiently in a busy practice
- A quick learner who can take direction and adapt easily
- A strong team player who is equally capable of working independently

- Available to work without restrictions, with full Australian work rights

- Experience with D4W is preferred but not essential

- Implant assisting experience is highly regarded, however it is not essential. Training can be provided to the right candidate.
