The Role Working as part of the site maintenance team, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of Liebherr excavators and other heavy mobile mining equipment.
Your duties will include
- Preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Breakdown maintenance and fault finding
- Servicing and repairs on Liebherr excavators
- Mechanical diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Component change-outs
- Equipment inspections
- Completing maintenance records and documentation
- Working safely in accordance with site procedures and standards
What We're Looking For We are looking for experienced Digger Fitters / Diesel Fitters who have:
- Trade Certificate – Diesel Fitting / Heavy Mobile Plant
- Liebherr excavator experience – essential
- Current Standard 11 – essential
- Current Coal Board Medical – essential
- Strong heavy mobile mining equipment experience
- Proven breakdown and preventative maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Ability to work a 7/7 roster and 12-hour shifts
