Cockatoo Dental is a growing, family-run dental practice looking for an experienced

Front Office Coordinator / Dental Receptionist

to join our supportive team.

This is predominantly a

front desk and patient coordination role , with some sterilisation, surgery changeovers and occasional dental assisting when required.

The Role

Managing appointments, recalls and a busy appointment book

Greeting patients and answering phone/email enquiries

Rebooking treatment and following up outstanding treatment

Processing payments, HICAPS and accounts

General front office administration and end-of-day reporting

Assisting with sterilisation and surgery changeovers

Chairside assisting when required

About You Previous dental practice experience is essential for this role.

Minimum

3 years' dental experience required

Experience in dental reception and/or dental assisting





Certificate III in Dental Assisting desirable

Confident managing appointments, recalls and patient enquiries

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Warm, qualified and patient-focused

Reliable, adaptable and a strong team player

Excellent understanding of infection control standards
