AUTOMOTIVE WRAP & INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

Our client is a growing automotive business specialising in vehicle wrapping, signage, graphics, paint protection film (PPF) and vehicle customisation.

They are looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Wrap & Installation Technician to join their team.

The main focus of this position will be the installation of PAINT PROTECTION FILM (PPF), which is a major part of the business and an important source of revenue.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has excellent attention to detail and understands the importance of achieving a clean, professional finish on every vehicle.

THE ROLE

Your primary responsibility will be the professional installation of PAINT PROTECTION FILM (PPF) to a range of vehicles.

- Installing paint protection film (PPF) to vehicles
- Preparing vehicle surfaces prior to PPF installation
- Measuring, cutting and applying PPF accurately
- Ensuring PPF is installed cleanly and professionally
- Identifying and correcting installation imperfections
- Vehicle wrapping and vinyl application
- Vehicle signage and graphics
- Removing and refitting trims and vehicle components where required
- Assisting with vehicle customisation projects
- Ensuring a high-quality finish on every vehicle
- Maintaining a clean and organised workshop
- General workshop duties
- Working closely with the team to complete projects to a high standard and within required timeframes

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who:

- Has proven experience installing PPF
- Has experience with vehicle wrapping, vinyl application or automotive graphics
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship
- Understands the importance of a flawless finish

- Has a genuine interest in cars and the automotive industry

PPF installation experience is highly desirable and will be a key consideration for this position.

Experience in vehicle wrapping, signage installation, vinyl application, window tinting, detailing, panel beating or another hands-on automotive trade will also be highly regarded.

RELOCATION ASSISTANCE

Our client is willing to pay relocation costs for the right person who is currently living outside Toowoomba and is prepared to relocate to join their team.
