Sunshine Coast Radiology is seeking a motivated and experienced Sonographer to join our growing team with the expansion of our Beerwah clinic and new Maroochy Private Hosptial site.

n

Reporting to the Chief Sonographer, you will perform a variety of ultrasound examinations including breast, general, MSK, vascular and obstetrics and gynaecology within a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

n

You'll work alongside a highly skilled and supportive team of Radiologists, O&G; Sonologist, Sonographers, and administrative staff, all committed to delivering exceptional patient care across the Sunshine Coast.

n

With 13 clinics spanning the whole Sunshine Coast, including three hospital sites, Sunshine Coast Radiology provides comprehensive imaging services throughout the region.

Responsibilities include -

n

n
- Conduct a variety of scans including a mix of general, MSK, vascular,



obstetrics and gynaecological studies.
n
- Enjoy a varied mix of hospital and private clinic work, as well as a state of the art, dedicated breast imaging clinic (if applicable)
n
- On-call work available.
n
- Collaborate with radiologists and colleagues.
n
- Ensure rooms are restocked, cleaned and patients are finalized.
n

About You -

n

n
- Bachelor of Medical Sonography/Graduate Diploma or Masters of Medical Ultrasound with current registration with ASAR.
n
- Ideally 2+ years postgraduate ultrasound experience.
n
- An all-rounder with competencies in a variety of ultrasound examinations including breast, general, obstetrics and vascular with a keen interest in MSK.
n
- Option to participate in a rotating weekend on-call roster between 5pm - 8am.
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
n
- A willingness to participate in further education and continued career development programs.
n
- Experience with Canon is ideal.
n
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people internally and externally.
n
- Focused on providing consistently high‐level, patient‐centred healthcare.
