Hybrid Hospitality Role - Reservations Assistant & Section Waiter

We are seeking a versatile Hybrid Reservations Assistant & Section Waiter to join our team in a dynamic casual role offering a minimum of 38 hours per week.

About the role

This unique position bridges the gap between our back-of-house guest experience team and our front-of-house restaurant operations. You will split your week between managing bookings and guest communications in the Darlinghurst office and delivering exceptional table service on the floor at one of our venues. Either Pellegrino 2000, Clam Bar, Neptunes Grotto, or Grandfathers.

Key responsibilities

Handle phone, email, and online booking inquiries, manage table allocations, and coordinate special dietary requests

Ensure seamless communication with floor managers

Run a dedicated dining section at Pellegrino 2000, Clam Bar, Neptunes Grotto, or Grandfathers

About you





Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-end or fine dining workplace

Exceptional customer service, communication, and teamwork skills

Ability to comfortably turn tables within a 2-hour timeframe while maintaining acute attention to detail

A genuine passion for food, wine, and hospitality

Valid NSW RSA certification and legal work rights in Australia

Strong administrative and phone skills

Experience using reservation software (e.g., SevenRooms, Resy, OpenTable) preferred

Casual loading with a steady roster offering a minimum of 38 hours per week

Set weekly hours across weekdays with weekends off
