We are looking for a reliable, caring and motivated Domestic Support Assistants to join our team and support older Australians to remain living independently in their own homes.

n

In this role, you'll provide essential domestic assistance to our Home Care clients, helping them maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home environment while providing friendly and respectful customer service.

What you'll do

n

n
- Provide domestic assistance in accordance with individual care and service plans.
n
- Complete tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting and bathroom, toilet and kitchen cleaning.
n
- Assist with washing, folding and ironing clothes and linen.
n
- Dispose of household waste appropriately.
n
- Prioritise and complete allocated tasks efficiently.
n




- Complete required documentation accurately and in line with Goodwin policies and procedures.
n
- Report incidents, hazards and other relevant events to management.
n
- Respond to client requests appropriately and professionally.
n
- Communicate with clients in a respectful, dignified and culturally sensitive manner.
n
- Contribute to Goodwin's commitment to quality care and continuous improvement.

About you

n

We're looking for someone who is dependable, practical and takes pride in providing a high standard of service. You'll be comfortable working independently in clients' homes while also being a positive and supportive member of the broader team.

You'll bring

- Current Australian driver's licence.
n
- Your own registered motor vehicle with full comprehensive insurance that can be used for work purposes.

- A smartphone that is available and operational during work hours.
n
- The ability to work with limited supervision.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

- The ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands.
n
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different clients, homes and situations.
