The Business This business is a well-regarded wealth management firm, that has truly stood the test of time. They work with a long-standing, loyal and established base of ultra-high-net-worth clients and provide advice across the board including, but not limited to SMSF’s, investment advice, strategic advice, taxation services, estate planning and philanthropy. We are looking for an experienced Portfolio Administration Manager to lead the team in this close-knit boutique environment. The group is professional, knowledgeable and skilled at what they do.

The Opportunity The opening here is for a diligent and capable professional with extensive experience in fund administration or portfolio administration to lead a team and be the central point of contact between the Advisers and all the external stakeholders. We are looking for an experienced and safe pair of hands to implement the investment strategies for clients from start to finish while also driving the operational and technology functions across the business. Work closely with the back-office teams and take ownership of complex or more urgent issues. This is a hands‑on role and it goes without saying that you need absolute focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

Your responsibilities

Lead the team – allocate work, monitor workflow and maintain service standards

Manage relationships with clients, accountants, solicitors, brokers,



custodians, registries and other service providers

Reconcile client portfolios and support all aspects of wealth management including investments, superannuation, trusts and portfolio administration

Oversee investment implementation, managed fund transactions, reconciliations, reporting and record management

Facilitate cash payment functions, including margin lending accounts

Assist on specific projects to address internal and client-related requests as required

Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, risk management, compliance and AML/KYC

About YOU We would love to see applications from enthusiastic and driven professionals who

Have previous experience in Fund Administration, Fund Operations or Portfolio Administration – at least 4 years

Ideally have managed some people in the past

Have some previous experience in a client focused role – from a fund administrator, custodian, wealth manager or responsible entity

Experience in Xplan, SharePoint, Power Automate would be an advantage

Have superb verbal and written communication skills

Are knowledgeable on financial markets, structures, entities and products

Enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic team setting

Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy is paramount

Hold a Bachelor of Commerce, Business or Finance
