The Baths Middle Brighton is a multi-faceted facility (Downstairs Cafe, Upstairs Restaurant & Event Space, Kiosk and Health Club) located in Brighton with beachfront bay and city views. Downstairs at The Baths offers waterfront casual dining.

Upstairs at The Baths presents a unique restaurant & event space where we host an array of celebrations with a capacity of 120 seated and 200 cocktail style, the versatile venue can also host smaller functions for group dining.

We are looking for a qualified, passionate and professional person to take on the Full-Time role of Head Chef.

About the Role: Qualifications & experience Past experience in rapid-paced, high-volume kitchens

Previous experience with exclusive functions or private dining is preferred but not essential

At least 8 years' experience in high-quality establishments, serving seasonal menus

Tasks & responsibilities Encourage a positive learning and supportive team culture with a high degree of professionalism





Excellent food hygiene and occupational Health & Safety standards

Work well within a team. You will be involved in all aspects of the kitchen

A quick-thinking ability to be able to perform numerous tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The ability to take on new ideas and think "outside of the box"

Ability to prep and organise ahead and the ability to work well under pressure

Good interpersonal communication skills
