Disability Support Worker – Youth & Autism Support | Upper Coomera, QLD
Vitium Cura Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide consistent 1:1 support to a young participant in Upper Coomera, QLD.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
2 hours per day | 10 hours per week
We are looking for someone who can provide consistent ongoing support, as routine and familiarity are important for the participant. The participant advantages from structured routines, calm communication, positive reinforcement and support with independence, social participation and emotional regulation.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience supporting children/young people with Autism and Intellectual Disability
- Experience with Positive Behaviour Support and emotional regulation
- Calm, patient and engaging approach
- Able to support fun, age-appropriate activities and community participation
- Reliable and available consistently Monday–Friday
- Current NDIS Worker Screening, Blue Card/WWCC, Police Check and First Aid/CPR
- Driver licence and reliable vehicle preferred
